Title: Lincoln Day Success! Eric Trump Keynotes Historic St Joseph County GOP Lincoln Day Dinner Author: Logan Foster Date: 06/24/25 On Friday, June 20, 2025, the St. Joseph County Republican Party (SJCGOP) hosted its annual and highly anticipated Lincoln Day Dinner at Four Winds Casino's Ribbon Town. The event, a hallmark of the local Republican calendar, was attended by approximately 500 supporters, making it one of the most successful functions under the leadership of SJCGOP Chair Jackie Horvath.

The keynote speaker of the evening was Eric Trump, Executive Vice President of The Trump Organization and son of the 45th and 47th President of the United States. During his address, Trump shared the unshakable resolve of the MAGA movement, stating, “People actually respect strength. Isn’t that a novel concept? They don’t respect weakness; they respect strength.” He continued this line of thought by adding, “The movement is unstoppable. I assume this movement is only getting more and more seen, and we’ve got the greatest prospects … and the greatest base of candidates. I think that this movement is going to exist long after all of us.”
Eric Trump expressed support for Indiana Secretary of State Diego Morales at the event, adding another highlight to an already star-studded evening. Trump remarked, “You’re lucky to have Diego, who is working so hard to keep elections safe here in Indiana!” Morales, often lauded for his commitment to election security, has become a key figure in state and national Republican politics.
Other high-profile guests included Indiana’s Lieutenant Governor Micah Beckwith, Attorney General Todd Rokita, and U.S. Senator Todd Young.

Strong Leadership On Display
Jackie Horvath assumed the role of SJCGOP Chair in 2024 with a clear mission to revitalize the SJCGOP, and her efforts have already yielded noticeable results. For example, the November 2024 general election, where the party won 7 out of 8 highly competitive races.
Horvath's approach has emphasized fostering relationships with significant political influencers and bringing energy back into the St. Joseph County Republican base. From welcoming Lara Trump in November 2024 to this summer’s event with Eric Trump, Horvath has continuously delivered marquee events. Eric Trump also shared a personal anecdote about his decision to participate in the event, saying, "I'm basically retired from politics, and I get a phone call from Jackie, Sam (Former Trump 45 Official and Current SJCGOP Consultant), the whole group, and I asked my wife, I go, 'Honey, what do you remember about this group?' and she (Lara Trump) goes, 'They were so wonderful. I'm like, 'I'll do it. I'm going to come out of retirement for Jackie.” This heartfelt remark underscores the strong relationships and respect Jackie Horvath has cultivated during her leadership and career.
